Every once in a while the stars align and the moon turns blood red as a harbinger of good fortune. I picked up some NOS genuine ford fenders for Betty for a fair price. What a lucky break to find left and right NOS ford fenders(wings) together. These are pretty rare these days. The rest of the repair sheet metal I need is still readily available over seas. With another sheet metal order we should be ready to take Betty into body and paint when it gets cold this winter. Until then I will enjoy driving my rusty little motor.

Batinc.net is about the only place with any MK1 support for aftermarket items, but I think they are getting them from the UK as well. Rockauto, is cool as well, because you can always check the EU flag to find parts overseas. Then there is the Fiesta group on Yahoo! which has some items. Kustom engineering was creating awesome aftermarket items, but he was trying to sell off the business last I heard, but I think that fell through.
DeleteThe MK1 was only available for 3 model years over here, so never gained much support.
